Jon Solo is dedicated to making of music.

Our purpose is to deliver music to the masses.  Not any music, but the music they demand.  Our goal is to achieve this by shopping, promoting and releasing the music of songwriters and recording artists.   To this end our catalog covers genres such as Pop, R&B, Hip/Hop, Rock, Electronica, and Film & Television (Soundtracks). 

We do not wish to be independent of the “music industry”, but rather carve our humble place next to recording “giants”.  As we become proficient at promotion and distribution and our assets grow, we want to align ourselves with positive outlets, charities, and foundations that can mutually benefit from our association. 

We will strive to maintain a high quality of sound and music without straining the “ear” or the “pocketbook” of our average listener.  We will continue to further this endeavor as long as our listeners allow us.

What is The Solo Factor?

The Solo Factor is a website chronicling the musical endeavors of Jon Solo. This along with SoloSounds incorporates a modest production facility located in Charleston, SC. We cover a variety of genres including Pop, R&B, Hip/Hop, Americana, Rock, and Film and Television.  Additionally we have our own recording facility that features 200 tracks all digital hard disk based recording. We have the most current technology and programs to assure the cleanest, clearest sound, while keeping the warmth and feeling of the original performance. We shop, promote, and release our songwriter's and recording artist's music. Jon Solo is also a member of the rock band Letterbox based out of Augusta, Georgia.

I am interested in being produced by Jon Solo. How do I get SoloSounds to hear my material?

At the moment we are only promoting acts that are recording with us. However, our minds are open and we are always looking for originality, skill, stage presence, and foremost...musical talent and ability. Polish on the sound is NOT important...in fact that is our job. You can send a CDR along with any necessary bio information or pictures to:
