2008 -
Pop Junkie
- This is Jon Solo's most ambitious
project. It is a vocal CD that began production in April 2006.
Initially it was to be titled
The Right To Remain Silent.
However, as the project continued and feedback was received it
became clear that there was nothing "silent" about the music.
The conceptual title was dropped and Solo renamed the project
according to it's content:
Pop Junkie!
Some other minor changes have taken place as this album nears
it's completion mid-2008 including the track count which
originally was 12 songs and now includes 14 songs. A
decision was made to remake two songs which inspired the
beginnings of this CD, "Taste the Wine"
and "Where Am I". Utilizing a variety of
instruments and sounds this vocal CD will feature Jon Solo at
his best. A good example of this is
Stay. Work
should be complete and the CD ready for release late summer of
2008. For a complete detailing of the making of Pop Junkie

2005 - The One
(unreleased EP) - For the first time since 1998, Jon Solo embarked on a vocal
project. The result was The One, a collection of ballads and
soft rock that captured the attention of many Internet listeners
and created a fan base that is currently alive and well. It
also showed the maturity of Solo's vocal work since his first
vocal CD Rise.
The Love In Me is still a big
request so we made it available at Soundclick. Though it
was a departure from his previous work, The One paved the way
for Jon Solo's most ambitious project yet:
Pop Junkie. Though the CD is only ten songs you will find it
enjoyable over and over again, beginning to end. |

2004 - The Forever Garden
- This thematic instrumental CD is a progressive electronica
movement that at it's end as a complete departure from previous
instrumental albums Mood Ring
and Solosphere.
The music is more deliberate and leaves you with a dreamy
otherworld of imagination!

|
2003 - Mood Ring - While joined at the hip with Solosphere, this 2003 CD is a brand new creation filled the same makeup as it's predecessor. There will be no doubt in your mind as to the meaning behind the title to this CD as you mentally soar through various moods evoked by the progressive nature of each song.
When Dreams Go
was a huge hit
on Ampcast.com until it's demise in 2006. |

2002 - Solosphere-
Going back to his roots after a long personal hiatus and work
with other projects such as Solorayz, Jon Solo explores sound-scapes with a touch of dance and progressive Electronica notions. Solosphere was his wakeup call to get back involved with Internet artists and music, as this CD drew much attention in 2002!
Be sure to check out the first song written for this CD-
The Longing!

1999 -
While I Was Out
(unreleased LP) -
This was going to be Jon Solo's second
vocal CD. It had all the right things: a great sounding
pop track to kick it off, lots of airplay
from Internet radio stations, and even featured a track that had
been used as background music in a commercial. But a big
change of location for Solosounds, and being backed up on other
projects eventually shelved this project with only eight songs
partially completed. |

1998 -
Rise- This is Jon Solo's first vocal CD. Whether or not you find the vocals stellar or not, this was the "cutting teeth" CD for Solo. Described as one of his most telling moments in music, Rise was released in late 1998 and touches on his deepest and darkest feelings about relationships, his childhood, and his future.

1997 -
Something Old Something New- The
album that kick-started Jon Solo's studio and separated him as one of today's
Internet Super Producers. Released in 1997 this album is his first commercial release.
Tequila Lies was quite popular
on the Internet and hit number 8 at MP3.com.
